I’ve already started mentally preparing myself for Fashion Week. In all honesty, I’m pretty over it. Sure, all the perks are exciting, think goody bags, free champagne, and fun events where I get to meet and mingle with fashion’s finest, but is just so mentally taxing. As we approached the dreaded week I’ll tell you more about it.

All of the outfits I’ve been showing you lately were taken during the fall. With these sub zero temperatures it’s been hard to get out of bed in the morning, and even harder to get dolled up and shoot some pictures. I’m glad I have something wintery to show you today! The trick when dressing for Fashion Week is to wear something flashy- something that’d draw a photographer’s attention ’cause, at the end of the day, that’s all Fashion Week is nowadays: a photo shit show.  I couldn’t think of a better way to get noticed than with this neon dress, which you’ve already seen here, worn during the hottest day of 2013. I mega winterized this look with several layers of tights, my black faux fur vest (you saw it here!), and my green faux fur jacket, which you’ve already seen here.

Missy I feel your pain but it’s what we are so passionate about. Take it in stride and live for each moment. Your beauty and fashion comes so each that you can afford to relax and still come to events looking fantastic. I wish you all the best during fashion week and I hope to run into you at an event soon!

PS I’m a sucker for fur and you worked it well!
