Another set of pictures salvaged during The Great Hard Drive Hunt of 2012. If you can remember a couple of months ago my PC broke, I borrowed my roommie’s netbook and then I bought a MacBook Pro, which I love to hate. I’m still getting used to the operating system, but man, this screen is so beautiful I want to have babies with it. Anyways, neither here nor there. These pics are from a little Asian food outing with my roommates this summer. Obviously this wasn’t the prettiest street for us to do a quick outfit shoot, but we were hungry and wanted to get back to out food ASAP. Chinatown is possibly the stinkiest, dirties, most crowded area of all Manhattan. I used to work there. How I survived is beyond me.

What I miss the most about summer is that getting dressed takes half as long. This day I just threw on a dress and was out the door in 10 minutes. I added this cropped denim jacket because without it I wouldn’t have an outfit; I’d have a dress. Personally, I think no look is complete without outerwear,  whether it be a jacket like this one, a blazer or even a cardi. Think of this next time you’re trying to figure out what to wear! :)

Oh Summer, you shall be missed! Loving those sunglasses and even though I may not apply it every time I agree with adding something else to a dress to make it an outfit. The denim jacket here really brings everything together. Have a happy fall! – Carla
