Fall Days. A Leather Skirt in Midtown.
This post is also available in: Spanish
Another look at my Leather Skirt. It was a crips Fall afternoon when I decided to meet up with Beto around Bryant Park to take some pictures- around lunchtime. This was an awful idea, because Midtown is the most pack during lunchtime, and right after work. It was hard to find an empty street, so we just walked from Bryant Park to Grand Central Station taking pictures as we walked.
I bought this leather skirt from JCPenney last year on Black Friday, it always gets me tons and tons of compliments. It’s by Nanette Lepore’s brand, L’Amour. The shirt I got at the rewardStyle party during New York Fashion Week. When I first saw it I thought: mmm…ew? I’m not a big fan of mismatched prints, but the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me. You can find it at Piperlime. The shoes are a little different from what you’re used to seeing on my feet, but sometimes, a girl just needs a pump of a reasonable height! I needed a low-heel for an office-friendly look, but I didn’t want to go too basic, so I went with these by Jessica Simpson, which I found at Marshalls. Be sure to scroll all the way down to find out where to buy these items, or similar ones! :)
What do you think of this Fall look, and which pieces if your fave? For me, is all about this leather skirt! I can’t wait to wear it with tights this winter, since it is a bit on the short side (sorry, dad!).
