An afternoon in CRLandia.

This past Fashion Week I was lucky enough to have been invited to the Cynthia Rowley Spring/Summer ’15 fashion presentation. I was even luckier to have been invited for a little pre-presentation get together at the designer’s boutique in the West Village. I got to meet the fun social media team, and mingle with other fashion bloggers as we explored the current Fall/Winter ’14 collection, and even played a bit of dress up. We then went down the block to Cynthia’s candy shop, CuRious for champagne and cotton candy.

I had such a lovely time with the Cynthia Rowley team! Thank you so much for the fun afternoon and the wonderful pictures!

The CR team gifted me a piece from the current collection of my choice. I of course picked this bonded dress in simply one of the most amazing prints I’ve ever seen. Does this dress say Fashion Week or what? I paired it with my red Louboutins, a skinny red belt, and I kept the rest of my accessories simple, to let the print speak for itself. I loved the neoprene-like material, a lot of Cynthia’s current pieces use this material. It feels very nice and smooth to the touch; I felt like an urban surfer! Fun fact, this dress is named “Space Junk,” which is the name of a song by Wolfgang Gartner, and my current cell phone ringtone.

I loved this boxy jacket- the color is just heavenly!

I played dressed up in this top-and-skirt ensemble, in the same bonded fabric as my dress. Cynthia Rowley has definitely mastered her prints!

Look, ma! I’m on Cynthia Rowley’s Instagram! Here we are all wearing Fall/Winter ’14 pieces!

The CuRious store was so great! So much candy everywhere you looked. We left with some goody bags, and I finished mine in a matter of days. So much sugar- so good!

The fashion presentation, CRLandia was a big hit! Again, she never disappoints with the prints and fabrics! These are my fave pants.

Thank you again to the Cynthia Rowley team for all your attentions!
