Baby, It’s Cold in Here!

My vacation is over! As you’re reading this I’m on a plane to New York. Like that Sinatra song says: “I wanna wake up in that city that never sleeps!” I very much enjoyed my time off and spending time with my family and old friends. Expect a Venezuelan pics post this week!

We had amazing weather here in Caracas and on the beach. What a difference from the weather in the City! These pictures were taken last year, right before I flew home. I don’t think you can tell (or perhaps you can, maybe you know me very well already), but I was completely miserable in these photos. I was very cold and just wasn’t feeling it. I still love this outfit very much. You’ve seen this sequin skirt before here, when I bought it I knew I was going to get lots of use from it. It’s no longer available at JC Penney, but I found a similar one here. This is the first time I’ve worn this scarf, it’s a hand-me-down. My mom gave it to me early last year and it’s more for decoration than anything else, since it’s so thin. The gloves I had been eyeing for a while, but I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend $30 on gloves, since I always lose one. Lo and behold, one day I just happened to walk by the H&M by my place (I told you all about it in this post) and they were on sale for $10! Now that’s a good buy!
