Best of 2012 – Personal

And just like that, another year came and went. I celebrated the start of 2012 in Times Square (never again). We ended up at a gay club afterwards. I didn’t realize it was a gay club until we were leaving. Someone spilled a drink in my new faux fur. It was a mess. This time around I’ll be ringing the New Year from my beach house (yeah, I have a beach house) with my family and friends and then we’re going to another party nearby. Should be fun and hopefully there will be no spilling of any sort in my new white dress. I’ll have no Internet access there, so you won’t hear from me again in a while.

I’m a firm believer in not getting too attached to materials things; they can be here one day and gone the next. At the end of the day, if our house burns down and we lose everything we ever owned all we have left is our memories. No one can take that away from us. So in a nostalgic spirit, I’d like to share with you the highlights of the year from my personal life; a side I rarely share with you. Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see my fave post from 2012!

On Jan. 2 I flew to Zürich for a two-week mini Eurotrip. This is me and some of my Swiss boyz (I’m so fortunate, always surrounded by beautiful men) on Jan. 3 in St. Gallen, Switzerland

I celebrated my most grown-up birthday to date at a steak restaurant. Congrats, Raza, you made it on the blog again!

Some friends from Switzerland were coming to Tampa so I flew down and hosted them in my house. This is my old room. Don’t worry, I’ve never actually seen any of these boys naked (such a shame)

Then we went to the Universal Studios- Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando

And then we went to South Beach in Miami

In April I went to Coachella in California with my BFF Lara
